In the winter, there's downhill skiing at Tamarack Resort, which is just a few miles away. There's snowmobiling, ice fishing, ice skating, cross country skiing, and only a 20 minute drive to McCall where there's restaurants, shopping, sporting goods, and the Brundage Ski Resort.
